Considering counselling or therapy is a brave step so well done for coming this far. You may be feeling lost, anxious, uncertain or just curious. Whatever is on your mind, I truly believe talking therapy can help.

I specialise is in supporting people dealing with loss or struggling with change and acceptance. This can be the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, the end of a relationship or simply feeling a bit lost in life itself.

I have a Person Centred approach but work as an Integrative Counsellor and Therapist. As a Person Centred practitioner, I believe you know yourself best. By observing and understanding your concerns, I work with you to explore whatever is on your mind to look to find a path forward. I believe this approach helps people feel more empowered and can lead to profound change. As an Integrative Counsellor and Therapist, I draw on various approaches – Person Centred, Behaviourist or Psychodynamic – depending on what works best for you. It is important that I work alongside you to understand your issues, needs and, if appropriate, your goals.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellor and Therapists (BACP) and follow its Ethical Framework. I keep up to date in my skills and competencies with regular CPD training. As expected of all therapists, I have regular supervision as well as professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I also volunteer for a national bereavement charity as a counsellor.

I offer both in person and online counselling and am a Registered Member of ACTO – the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online. In both situations, you can be assured of the same high quality commitment, respect, attention and privacy. It is important to me that you feel comfortable, safe and heard.

I understand you may be feeling nervous or unsure about what to expect and that is okay. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation to discuss your needs and if I am best placed to support you.
