Pat has over 30 years experience as a Counsellor.  She first trained and later qualified with Marriage Guidance in 1975 and since then has worked in various settings and agencies before starting her own private practice in central Exeter. Pat has a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.  She has experience in working with abuse, addictions, loss, bereavement, depression, relationship and sexual issues.  Over time she has continued to broaden her knowledge and skills by adding qualifications in Inner Child Therapy, Stress Management, Group Facillitating, Critical Incident Debriefing, Post Traumatic Stress and EMDR.

An accredited supervisor Pat supervises student and qualified counsellors and hypnotherapists.

Confidentiality, privacy and trust are invaluable to the Counselling process and sufficient time is always given to allow these important foundations to be established.
